2021 Love Forever First Class Postage Stamps

The word LOVE and three large hearts, drawn as a flat digital illustration and set against a dark blue field. What makes the 2021 stamp unusual in the series is the palette: the hearts are worked in paired colors that are not the ones you would expect together, and the dark background pushes them forward instead of the usual white or pastel ground.

It reads as contemporary rather than sentimental, which widens where you can use it. Valentine's cards, obviously, but also engagement announcements, anniversary notes, wedding thank-yous and everyday mail that would look wrong with a flag on it. Sheets of 20, and it is one of the few in the series that works as well on a business envelope as on a card. As a Forever stamp it keeps pace with the letter rate, so a sheet bought in 2021 at 55 cents covers a one-ounce letter at today's 82 cents with nothing to make up.
